An inexpensive base of protein to many people all over the world. Brown Lentils are 31% fiber and contain high amounts of the essential amino acids Isoleucine and Lysine. They also contain many other nutrients in abundance including Thiamine, Iron, Folate, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium and Zinc. Soaking lentils overnight is not necessary but doing so increases the bioavailability of dietary minerals as well.

Excellent Texture!
I love the way these lentils cook. They are very soft and tender. They also make excellent lentil patties and lentil crumbles for our 'veggie' tacos!!! :-)

Awesome Lentils!
I have been a vegetarian for almost 30 years and this is my favorite lentil!!! It is so versatile and can be the star of your meal or added as a side for a boost of fiber and protein. I agree, they make excellent lentil burgers or even a lentil loaf (vegetarian meatloaf)!!!😉
